Some say that braiding hair is the easy part. The hardest part is parting the hair. The ability to part the hair in sections will determine how advanced your braiding skills will be.
You will need a fine tooth comb preferably one with a pick at the end so you can get very accurate with your parts. Once again sectioning off the parts and knowing how to design the cornrows will be the most important part of braiding cornrows.
