However, if there is a big party coming up or I just feel like rockin a new outfit, I might go with crazy cornrow styles just for the hell of it.
3. What is your budget? Finding a good cornrow stylist is not always cheap! The longer it takes or the more advanced the cornrow styles are, obviously it cost more. Looking on craigslist or searching through facebook, you might be able to find a good cornrow stylist that works from home. The ones that dont have to pay for a seat at the salon, can charge less. Tipping is necessary of course if you want them to keep doing a good job! Dont be cheap if you find a good stylist!
4. Is your stylist good? It took me awhile to find a good one. They are not all the same! Some pull your hair tighter than necessary and I’ve come to find out the hard way that its not about how tight they pull your hair to make the braids tight! Also, most stylist have a portfolio of different cornrow styles so all you need to do is ask to see theirs and judge for yourself whether they can accomplish the style that you want.
